The North East of England has been incredibly influential in the history of British hard rock – Venom, Raven & Geordie are all acts that sprang from Tyneside to achieve world-wide success. Lesser known but equally influential where SATAN, and from the ashes of SATAN rose Blind Fury - more melodic than their predecessors but no less explosive. This is a classic NWOBHM release featuring the twin guitar attack of Steve Ramsey and Russ Tippins and the excellent vocals of Lou Taylor.
In this, the NWOBHM’s 25th anniversary year, it’s entirely appropriate that we re-visit some of the genre’s finer exponents. BLIND FURY certainly fit nicely into that category…
