BAND: Massmurder

Biografie

It all started in 2000 when Jan and Ramon started talking at some shitty bmx lake jumping contest. They soon realized the same interest in brutal music, and both of them were fed up with all the whimpey melodic bands in their home town, so they decided to form a band of their own. After a few weeks of talking, they started jammin´ and began writting their own songs. Then a couple of months later, Paul was recruted as growler, he was an old drinkin´ and smokin´ budy so he fitted right in with the weed addicts. The shit started kicking, and they decided to record some songs. In february 2002 they recorded the demo ´´Meatcleaver massacre" at Popei studios in Eindhoven.They got good responses and a few offers for a full lenght cd. Jan also took care of the bass on the demo, so it was time to find a bassplayer. But it wasn´t easy too find somebody who fitted the weedposse, so after a few audditions Paul said ´ fuck it!´ and grabbed the bassguitar himself. Amazinglly he pulled it off, so we stayed a trio, we were all very glad ´cause now we don´t have to share our weed with somebody else. We kept on writting songs, and in december 2003/ january 2004 we booked a couple of weekends at Excess studios in Rotterdam, where we recorded our debut ´´Slaughtered for snuff´´.
