Biografie

Fast, heavy, playful, heartbreaking melodies, just some words that describe the sound, the massage and the incredible power of NARZISS. Probably for the first time you think the most important thing of NARZISS are the german lyrics. But after listening the 9 songs you´ll see that there are a lot of other parts which let go NARZISS there own way.

Typical for the NARZISS-sound are the open played melodies, the fast drum parts who change into a heavy, fast groove. The vocals all time are screamed, only on the song "Menschenwelt" Patrick W. Engel added some seriously, lyrical clean vocals, like you know maybe from the Heaven shall burn album "Whatever it may take". The album was recorded in the "rape of harmonies" studio from P. W. Engel, but probably you have this heard before you read this! While you listening to this CD maybe you think on Loxiran, Heaven shall burn and Caliban. That´s right, there are a lot of influences on NARZISS, but they still have there own sound.

This album is the development of NARZISS after there CDep "Ebenbilder", which they produced in the DIY way. If you know this CDep you probably find less similarities between both recordings. Don´t worry about that, things have to change!
