Band:
BiografieQuebec City, Canada’s passionate young road warriors, The Hunters have been a band for seven years now. When they were jamming in the basement back in high school, they never thought that the chemistry breeding at the time would take them this far in the future. Getting on the roadbefore even being old enough to legally drink the booze they were offered at shows, they shared the stage with an impressive and diverse line-up of bands including tour and shows supporting Anti-Flag, Mustard Plug, Agnostic Front, Against All Authority, The Briggs & The Flatliners, traveled several times across their home country, released a promising full-lenght, “Dissent Lasts…” in 2008 and perfomed in events such as the Vans Warped Tour, the Envol et Macadam Festival and more recently in Montreal’s very own Pouzza Fest. The Hunters
Inspired by everything that’s heartfelt, from anthemic punk rock to muddy guitar-driven blues, from spellbinding folk to thundering rock n’ roll, they create a catchy, yet ardent sound they call their own. Their new record “Promises” is a unique and mature punk rock record produced and recorded by the production duo of Hugo Mudie & Marc-André Beaudet ( both of The Sainte Catherines fame ). They play with their heart on their sleeves and sing with an honesty that is unique for a bunch of friends in their very early 20s. They dedicate their life to their passion and will spend their life on the road, eating pizza from garbage cans and living in their van. They are like a non-mutant, non-turtle version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, warriors of the night, ready to fight evil with honesty, humour, and pizza. They will win. Every damn night.Quelle: http://www.thehuntersmusic.com/bio/ www
