Band:

La Division Mentale

BiografieIn 1998, Cypher created La Division Mentale, so as to link extreme Metal to electronic music.

A first demo, [Syndrome], was impulsively released,

without any conceptual aim, but just an experience leading to outlet.

Then Cypher created Guerilla Underground, an entity willing to

support young UG bands. Guerilla Underground has collaborated

with bands such as Horrid Flesh [ Brutal Death Metal, Cypher

produced 2 of their albums] , Hymen [ Avant Garde Metal, Cypher

took care of vocals & production] , DsM [ Techno Gothic Core,

Cypher plays the guitar and production ] , and more recently ,

Absent [ Abstract Electro music ] and Wolok [ Sick Black Metal /

mix of the album & drums programming ].

From 2004, Cypher feels his experience can be useful to

La Division Mentale :

remix, participations to compilations, re-release of

[Syndrome]?

Then the writing of new songs started,

riffs were born, the recording of all guitars began to give

rise to these brand new tracks.

The lyrics writing process is long, but the evolution stems

from a prerequisite serious work.

It was time to summon exterior people to enrich the

Project : Mriik [ Devilish Era / Wolok ] has joined

the line-up to puke all lyrics .

Cypher also called upon activists from the UG electro

background; BK from Babylon Chaos [ also known for

taking part to labels such as Devine Comedy Rec. - Fr /

Nein Rec.- UsA ] and Yd from Absent [ aB.100 / Diahableries ]

are invited to create ambient tracks and interludes.

L´extase des fous was born from this complex and exhaustive

Matter , as a perfect compromise between Extreme Metal &

Experimental Electro.

L eXtase de fous - Cover
Eine total kranke Division meinen Cypher und Mriik, die beiden Hauptakteure hinter dieser französischen Formation, darzustellen.
