BiografieMichael Hero who is the founder of the band was raised in the cold northern part of Sweden. He started to play guitar when he was 9 years old, rocking out to Kiss and many more. Michael now works as a youth leader and runs a "School Of Rock" project in Stockholm, coaching many bands.



Michael joined forces with a old friend Björn Sundström, they started to record at Björns place and after truck-loads of Coca Cola and PS2 Games it all ended up in a self released album 2006 named “Bless This Nation” (Good news music). On the album you can also hear the two brothers Torbjörn and Tomas Weinesjö (Veni Domine).



Dannie Boy joined to be the drummer in 2007, and he’s also an old friend to the guys. Dannie Boy is running a very old and cool café in Stockholm where the band sometimes rehearse.



HERO have been doin several gigs on festivals and Rock Clubs since the start with different line-ups in Sweden and on the Cornerstone Festival in Illinois, USA the 5th of July 2008.



HERO recorded the album "Immortal" together with Johan Adler (Key board)(De Van) and Marcus Lannfjäll (Bass)(Pineapple Sue) who were members of the band then.



Mauritz Vetterud joined the band spring 09 and he's also an good and old friend to all of the guys in HERO, so this heavy army is now formed and are ready to hit the battlefield. Mauritz also play in the Swedish Punk Band "Tekla Knös"



HERO are endorsed by Indie Guitars who built Michaels Cross-Star baritone Flying V, EBS Bass Equipment and HAGSTRÖM Guitars.



HERO is now signed to (Retroactive Records, USA), and the new record is bearing the name HERO “Immortal” Torbjorn Weinesjo (Veni Domine) have mixed the album, and Daniel Strågefors has done the mastering.
