BiografieFILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM is a Satanic AnarcoBlack-Metal band, forged above and beyond any flock, god or fatherland. Tumular, and in swift FALL towards the great universal ditch... The idea of creating infernal music was carved in 1988/89, and in 1991 was bloodily baptised as BACTHERION. BELATHAUZER (throat roaring/guitar), along with Tetragrammaton (bass, also in Moonspell) and Jerzegemoth (drums), began spewing the hedonist bile of utter degeneration’s black venom and necrophile beastiality with nihilist principles, satanicochristian virtues and funerary hangovers...


A demo recorded at the rehearsal place with a 4-track recorder, The Miracle of Death (1991), was cholerically spat by hearts filled with murky benignity, thus as well entreating the cherished siblings of Christendom to the funereal orgies of Hell (obviously the sound was dirty, but wicked poison, the good stuff, does have this raw Satanic Doom forged under the sign of Hellhammer and Necroschizma…).

Once christened FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM, they played in 1993 the first exclusively Black Metal gig that in these lands of God our Lord was ever played, with the participation of musicians from Moonspell and Decayed, donning and wielding black leather, steel, fire and blood – then, this land of catholic sheep tasted a first sip of Corpse-paint and Fire-breathing. They then further twisted their sickening music, introducing the speed of the noose in its slow crawl, and that same year (1993) they went into the studio to record «Os Métodos do Pentagrama» (Methods of the Pentagram) demo tape, half an hour of Bacchic blasphemy released by Dark Records, with Langsuyar (Moonspell) as special guest and an epic and pastoral ocarina performed by F.



Some time later, with Helregni (bass) and still Wafk on drums, being this last one the transubstantiated result of Jerzegemoth, they recorded at Rec ‘n’ Roll Studios the MCD «A Era do Abutre» (Age of the Vulture) - 1995, released through Monasterium Records. This piece gathers four songs, from which, one can pick the immortalized «Abadia do Fogo Negro» (Black Fire Abbey) and «Herança de Outono» (Autumn Heritage), songs that are being covered live by several bands.

As a special guest, metallion Mantus (Moonspell) played a guitar solo. Devilish concerts with the already adopted liturgic elements of blood, iron and fire ensue, strengthened by mercenary second guitarist Calahuzu.


Helregni leaves the band (due to professional commitments in a convent of daring sisters) and in come Vohrzaak on bass and Ofaxat on guitar, a fierce line-up that played with mystical ecstasies and metallic rage some sanctified gigs in honour of SODOM, GOMORRAH and HADES – Father, Son, and Holy Ghost – to the necromantic delight of some distinguished undead, with no concessions to the realm of light and GLEEFULLY ECUMENISING GOD OUR LORD…

Fire, Blood & Rock’n’Roll

Em In 2001 – date for the end of times, according to the blessed wisdom of the ancient, both benign and malevolent – with the purpose of recording some new songs for FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM, Lopo (drums) and Samhain (guitar) join with BELATHAUZER and, again, HELREGNI (bass), who leaves his place to Tormentor, who steps into bass and backing vocals. They record in Kharmageddon, amidst the Forest of Vice (Sintra), A QUEDA (2002) 7’’ EP (The Fall)..
In this Pic-7’’EP, released through Tenser Recs, FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM show their powerful and barbed sound with two songs («Moïra» (Moïra) and «Puta Infernal» (Infernal Whore)), METAL with MALIGN influences of old school Thrash/Heavy/Black, agonising, bludgeoning and dedicated in joyous and oblique lyrical homage to Our Lady of Fátima, true lusitanian Venus, who ascends gazing at the ocean with spasms of horned Adamastor… songs of erstwhile.


Meanwhile, in 2003, the whimsical and derisive Wheel of Fate once again turns and shuffles the cards in the deck of destiny: ANDREMON joins, to raise hell among the morbid nuns with the incision of his heretical solos and the intoning of the vocal virtues of his throat; ARRNO MAALM, to inflict debauched auto-de-fe poundings on drums; and, once again, HELREGNI on bass, whose metallic excellences are already well-known by all those who know them (AND GOD, who SEES ALL, my delicious sisters, counts on him to the orgiastic celebrations of Judgment Day…) – With this formation-deformation, FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM hit the stage and play live and dead on several dates of Hell, Steel, Chains, Blasphemy and Orgy of Darkness: from South to North of Portugal, Universal epicentre of the christic, catholic, apostolic and roman ecumenism, INFERNALIUM display more putrid a blood than ever, spewing poison and decibels of true METAL..

On the Spring of 2004, they form a liaison with PROCON label (a branch of Equilibrium), for a full-length CD. Subsequently, the live rituals cease in order to focus on the recording. … FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM retreat into the DARKNESS, under the sign of Bacchus and in demonic conspiracy … In the meantime, due to hampering yet peaceful internal affairs of the band caused by the Great Scoffer PazuzuYahweh, ROLANDO BARROS joins the ranks as a session drummer.


This line-up spawns the first FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM album, born at the CROSSOVER studio, in the punk and vicious township of Linda-a-Velha/Mutant Beach C3455.
Esta obra, baptizada com o nome de «FELLATRIX DISCORDIA PANTOKRATOR» contém 9 temas, entre os quais «A Forca de Deus », «Morte Geométrica» ou «Bordel no Éden», e será certamente um marco fálico inscrito a ferro e fogo na cena do Metal mais sujo e tortuoso. Rhythms of classical Heavy Metal entwined with Thrash/Speed frenzy, reaching the devastation of the most ferocious Black Metal – a raw sound, a blazing and effective production and a few choice guests invited into the catacombs of BELATHAUZER. Unquestionably, o children of God and the Devil, knowing and unknowing of the many virtues of FILII NIGRANTIUM INFERNALIUM, this fruit of the decay of four fallen souls will reach the depths of your arrogant hearts… the delivery of this necrolustful Plague shall take place when the dead leaves begin their descent and the winds once again thrash the empire of the Sun: the Autumn will be the season of the jubilant infection, that the infamous foursome will spread through Ritual Acts live and dead, upwards and downwards, front and back, in a few ill-omened dates (that shall be announced in the website and in the Vatican annals) – Creatures of God, Sinners!: Take heed, for the pestilential flock of the SONS OF THE INFERNAL DARKNESS will hurl the seeds of sweet putrefaction, of true SUICIDAL METAL from north to south of the country, contaminating the waters and ruminating the pious souls, the families, the parishes, the seminars and the convents: now the CARNAGE commences – DEATH IS REAL!
