BiografieBIOGRAPHY :
In 2003, after a short black metal period, the three members of CAER IBORMEITH decided to follow a weird way, mixing death metal, pop music and 70's prog rock. They quickly released “Flora”, a six-track demo which knew many reactions in the international underground press, from total rejection to outstanding appreciation.

Then, after many concerts in South France, the CI's musical concept got precise, and “O.R.F.T.U.M.” the second cd was recorded at TMP Studios (Lyon, France) in 2005. It was composed of 3 death metal / psyche rock influenced tracks, especially “Transobsoletian Fool's'Train” which was moreover broadcasted on many European, North and South American metal radios.

From that point, rehearsals for “O Hanami” recording were very intensive. With this first album, the band organized a French tour in 2006. The style was more and more personal ; from extreme metal to old fashioned NWOBHM with pop touches. Unfortunately, the leaving of Alexandre Manuse, bass and lead vocal, forced the trio to have a one year break.

During Spring 2007, Kevin Pierru and Alexandre Manuse restarted the CAER IBORMEITH machine and composed some amazing tracks, following a new artistic direction, more pop and prog than ever . They recorded their second album, called “Flesh And Blood” at Erythem Studios (France), which will be out in November 2007.
