BiografieBAI BANG - one of the most powerful rock acts from Sweden - features five talented and dynamic rockers: Diddi Kastenholt - Vocals, Pelle Eliaz - Leadguitar, Joacim Sandin - Bass, Jonas Langebro - Drums and Tony Rohtla - guitar. Since the band started some years ago the Bai Bang - members have spent a lot of time together on their tours all over Europe, Canada, Japan and USA.



In between tours BB are currently writing new songs for the 5th upcoming album that´s going to be released later this year, the band are first releasing a Best of record in a couple of months. In February BAI BANG are flying to Italy to play some gigs and they´re participating in a TV-show as well.



In 2004 BB was special guests to LA Guns on their Scandinavia-tour. In September - October BAI BANG was touring in Germany and in Italy . They released a new video (Welcome to the real world) and it has been showed in TV-channels all over Europe.



In 2003 Bai Bang did gigs, radio and TV-interviews in Sweden. The guys did a boat cruise to Finland (Silja Rock) with bands like Thin Lizzy, Wishbone Ash and Stray. In august they were participating for the third time at the Wacken Open Air in Germany, one of the largest Metal festivals in the world.



Bai Bang has been on several sold-out tours in Europe and some of the bands they toured with are Pretty Maids, Saxon and Axel Rudi Pell. In Canada, Bai Bang has appeared on the Variety Show with names such as Spencer Davies & Long John Baldry, Glass Tiger and Ronnie Hawkins and they played at the legendary club "El Mocombo" in Toronto. In the USA, the band played in Nashville at the famous "Ace of Clubs" and participated on a TV broadcasted show, "Coast To Coast" with Richard Marx and several other artists. Bai Bang has played an International Festival in Poland that was broadcasted to 500 million viewers, with Marillion, Alison Moyet and Erasure. In Moscow, BB had a tremendous success when they appeared at one of the greatest concerts ever held in Russia, it was broadcasted on TV to over 100 million people. In Estonia, the Swedish rockers performed to an audience of 100.000 people with Jesus And Mary Chain among others. They have played in Cairo, Egypt, lots of times and they have done some festivals in Turkey as well. Bai Bang has also played a sold out concert with The Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and the arrangement was a great success. In December 2002 BB did some cool shows at the Roxy, Whiskey a´gogo and Cat Club in Los Angeles and it was a big success. The band also was invited as special guest to DR Hook in Copenhagen.



In 2001 the band continued to show the Metal lovers what a hardrockin´ act they are - From doin´ national and international TV shows to get invited to play as special guests at The Monsters of the Millennium tour - the largest touring hard rock extravaganza in Scandinavia - with RATT, Dio and Alice Cooper.

The new millennium started off with a tour in Sweden and Norway with Glamnation (Eric Singer, Ryan Roxie, Eric Dover, Stefan Adika and Teddy
ZigZag). Once again it turned out fantastic. In the summer of ´2000, once again Bai Bang toured with Union. And finished the road trip with an opening gig at Sweden Rock Festival. Bai Bang ended the year with lots of club shows and festivals through Scandinavia.



In late 1999 Bai Bang made a tour in Scandinavia with UNION (Bruce Kulick x-Kiss, John Corabi x-Mötley, Jamie Hunting and Brent Fitz) that was considered a huge success.
