BiografieHighlord started in 1996 but at that time monicker was Avatar. The band recorded a demo tape featuring for of the songs later released in the first album. Thank to that tape Underground Symphony had them sign for its roster but unluckly due to line-up problems the band wasn´t able to record cd at Zenith studios. Some time passed and Highlord had new agreement with another new born label "Northwind Rec." as well as line-up changes. Vascé joined them and "Heir of Power" was finally recorded and released in 1998.

"When the Aurora falls..." has been recorded in July 2000 at New Sin studios and released in January 2001. The responce of the audience and specialized press was good and Highlord could take its place in the Italian and foreign Metal scene.

During 2002 Vascé left the band sick of playing Metal and new singer Andrea Marchisio joined. In May 2002 Highlord recorded new album "Breath of Eternity" that has already been released in Japan by Sound Holic the 21 of Agust. Japanese cd features bonus track "Pegasus Fantasy" cover of "Make-up" and soundtrack of the famous anime "Saint Seya". European version will be released within end of October 2002.

In July 2002 Highlord took part on second issue of "Keeper of Jerico" Helloween tribute by Arise Records performing the song "Power" from the album "The time of the Oath". Cd will be released in December 2002.
