BiografieThe band was formed in the spring of 1995, though its members had been playing together for some time before the band’s creation. The original name of the band was BLOODSHED. Founder members of BLOODSHED were Kostas Pourgiazis, Antonis Kalamoutsos and Andreas Sotiropoulos. After some line-up adventures, they recorded and released their first demo “WARPATH” in October 1996, along with Dimitris Tsoukas and Nikos Michas on the vocals. ”WARPATH” sounded mostly as a heavy/thrash combination but in spite of the powerful, well-structured songs ,the production and band’s performance were weak. This demo didn’t satisfy the band itself, so they started rehearsing endlessly, aiming in something of higher quality. Dimitris Tsoukas left the band and with Stefanos Prinos behind the drum kit, BLOODSHED released their second demo “FAIRYLAND” in April 1998. The result was a heavy sounding power/speed metal that respected the metal traditions of both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Coming with a good prod ction and an excellent artwork, “FAIRYLAND” got very good reviews and was a promising beginning for “BLOODSHED”. During the year 2000 the band changes its name into EVERDOME and creates a steady line-up with the addition of Spiros Haralambous in Stefanos Prinos’ place. They re-release, in CD form, FAIRYLAND’s songs, as EVERDOME’s PROMO 2000. In the beginning of the year 2001, EVERDOME recorded two songs and released a new promo CD, “THE CROWN”. Their music combines different styles of performing and has been enriched with many elements from every metal branch, intending to a modern dark and epic, heavy metal. With professional sound, beautiful layout and two great songs, “THE CROWN” is an amazing underground release. The next step for the band is to prepare its debut album, entitled “TALES BEYOND OBLIVION”. By October 2002, the recording and mixing sessions are completed. A short time later Antonis Kalamoutsos, Nikos Michas and Kostas Pourgiazis leave the band. New member Michalis Spadas (vocals) joins EVERDOME some months later.
