BiografieLaws. Every year more and more are put into effect, seemingly to control our every thought, action, and desire. Just as technology has opened the doors to knowledge and new levels of creativity, lawmakers seek to suppress and control the growth through enforced conformity and political correctness.



What if laws started running against this trend? What if a creative force gathered together and made its own rules, defying even the accepted catagorizations within its genre?
This law has been ratified! Leash Law was founded by vocalist Wade Black (Crimson Glory/Seven Witches/Tiwanaku) and guitarist Rick Renstrom (solo/Rob Rock/Tiwanaku) early in 2003. After intitial songwriting was underway, they realized that they would need some of the strongest talents in metal to enforce their law. With recruits Richard Christy (Iced Earth/Death/Control Denied/Tiwanaku), Stephen Elder (Rob Rock) on bass, and the just recently joined Emo Mowery(Nocturnus/Tiwanaku) on guitar.



Leash Law has created music that disregards the standards of traditional power metal and transcends their limitations. What could be better than a law that breaks all of the rules?
