Two Day Romance

(Underdog)
BiografieThe Band:

Everything started with Jan (bass) and Andy (guitar), who know each other since primary school. They worked with various people until January 2004, when someone introduced them to Robin, who attended the same high school. The three of them started rehearsing and writing their own songs, but were soon in need of somebody handling vocal duties. By coincidence they met Flop in August 2004. After the first rehearsal together it was obvious that he did fit in perfectly.By March 2005 an original set was completed. Since then, Two Day Romance have been taking every possibility to perform on stage.
The Music:

Two Day Romance influences range from melodic alternative rock to modern mosh core. They are somewhere between todays screamo, metal- and chaos core bands, but is hard to put them into one specific genre. Two Day Romance definitely have their own unique flavor, but especially fans of Poison the Well or Hopesfall should check them out. Or more generally said: everybody interested in non ordinary songwriting, heavy yet melodic music and thoughtful lyrics should take their time to listen to a song.
The Name:

The name Two Day Romance is actually taken from a Converge song, but besides being a tribute to one of the most inspiring band of our time, it means a lot more. It can be understood as a criticism of the rapid pace of our modern lives, where nothing is meant to last. Whether it’s personal relationships, political or economic decisions, people loose themselves when they strive for instant satisfaction of needs that were originally created by mass media and the industry. True life has more to offer than just two day romances...

Suicide Note Of The Individual EP - Cover
Ob eine Zwei-Tages-Romanze eine euphemistische Bereichnung für einen One-Night-Stand ist, kann ich nicht sagen, ein schöner Bandname ist es allemal.
