Band:

Searing I

BiografieSearing I was formed in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1999 within the ashes of a death metal band called The Prophecy. Mattias Hansson and Marcus Olofsson were working on some new ideas and Andreas Engman was recruited as the drummer.
After trying a number of vocalists the decision fell on the characteristic shrill voice of Andreas "Hasse" Hansson.
The line-up at that time:
Marcus Olofsson-Guitar
Mattias Hansson-Bass
Andreas Engman-Drums
Andreas "Hasse" Hansson-Vocals

In 2001 Anders Björk was added to the line-up as a lead/rhythm guitar player. The first demo-CD was recorded in Stijl Works Studio in 2002 by Henrik Wikner. After the second demo (2003) "Hasse" decided to leave the band and were replaced with Andreas Öman. Combining Andreas Öman´s throat with the fast guitar-riffs and the furious pounding drums, the music developed into a harder, faster in-your-face death/thrash metal. After a few months of rehearsing new material and doing a couple of gigs, they went back to the studio and recorded four tracks for a new demo entitled A Treacherous Ride.

In the summer of 2004 the fourth demo Tons of Hate was recorded. As for the earlier demos Henrik Wikner was the one to record it. The demo Tons of Hate was sent to some record companies and it was Black Lotus Records who finally gave Searing I a record deal for three full length albums. The debut album titled Bloodshred was recorded at Blueflame Productions , in Uppsala by Teddy Möller(Loch Vostok) and Niklas Kupper(Loch Vostok). It will be released in September 2005.Quelle: http://www.searingi.comDiscografieBloodshred CD 2005

Bloodshred - Cover
Die neumodische Hardcore-Welle ebbt wohl nie ab, und jetzt kommt auch noch die zweite Woge über uns hereingebrochen. Der moderne Schweden-Thrash bringt eine Kapelle nach der nächsten hervor.
