Fresh from recording their new CD with legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, (Hendrix, KISS, Beatles, Zeppelin, Bowie, Stones etc.) and with years of experience recording and producing some of the biggest names in the history of rock, Kramer feels strongly about Hangface´s talent and commitment to make it. "Based on what I saw and heard, I decided to produce Hangface´s first full-length album. I strongly believe Hangface has the potential to break into the American market with their guitar-based power rock, catchy melodies, strong arrangements and raspy vocals that are perfect for U.S. radio," Kramer stated. The five band members are certainly delivering what Kramer and others expect. One thing is certain, Hangface rocks hard and rolls right, giving the ultimate show experience to music fans wherever they perform.

The rock band grinds out original songs adding some surprising covers that pulsate with intense melodies and rhythm that always command audience attention. Hangface came to the U.S. for the first time in 2001 for a promotional tour and quickly gained a U.S. fan base. Returning to Norway to play Quart, the largest rock festival in their country, the band´s popularity continued to grow. Quart annually features rock superstars such as ´David Bowie´, ´Alanis Morissette´, ´Coldplay´, ´Beck´ and ´No Doubt´. Hangface received rave reviews and was invited to play Quart 2 years in a row, a rarity with Quart.

Late in 2003, Artist Manager John Malta of ´Bel Chiasso Entertainment, Inc.´ was introduced to the Norway rockers through a close friend, and he signed the band. John Malta´s touring experience and successes span over 25 years having worked with numerous musical superstars (´Fleetwood Mac´, ´Jimmy Buffett´, ´Bette Midler´, ´Goo Goo Dolls´, ´Soundgarden´, ´Sheena Easton´, ´Spinal Tap´, ´George Michael´ and more). Malta continues to manage the careers of 4 time Grammy Award winners ´Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo´ through Bel Chiasso Entertainment, Inc.



Hangface had already begun recording with Kramer at NRG Studios and The Hook Studios in North Hollywood. It was there that the Malta/Kramer/Hangface connection occurred.



In February 2004, during business meetings in Los Angeles, Malta took Touchard to a Hangface rehearsal. Matt Touchard, whose award winning artistic design + advertising works feature an International entertainment/business client list, (Pat Benatar/Neil Giraldo, Cirque du Soleil, EMI Records, The Improv Comedy Club, the New Orleans Opera, Scandinavia, etc.) Touchard has been the recipient of many national and International awards. Touchard´s creative ideas escalated when he heard and felt the energy and excitement of this rock quartet. "They blew me away! I could not get their songs out of my head," Touchard said. More pieces were falling into place for the band. Touchard has just completed the artwork for the upcoming album.



There have been important changes for the band during the latter part of 04´. The addition of chops master Tom Espen Pedersen, as a guitarist is big news in the Hangface camp. In addition, touring with and opening for Cheap Trick and Pat Benatar during the fall of 2004 plus writing and recording 5 new songs with Eddie Kramer. Big news indeed! The release of their first professional CD will happen in May 2005 in Europe. Plans are in place for the US release date as well. As is usual for this band, Hangface is literally laying musical tracks around the world.



With daily rave reviews and news, Hangface continues to roll out like a rocking red carpet for music royalty. Hangface bass player Hogne Rundberg had the opportunity to perform with Slash on his project, "Sing a Song of Six Strings," and the instrumental had Grammy nods for 04. The band also has a "thumbs up" acknowledgement from Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo for their cover of "Down,"



Not bad for a band, who hails from the small country of Norway and who has rubbed elbows with the elite of rock and roll today. The Hangface team has worked long and hard to be where they are today. With goals set for the accomplishment of their musical dreams, business plan and distribution for their new CD in place they are making their presence known in the world of rock.



They consider themselves very fortunate to have grown up in families who were supportive and active in music, some having their own bands. Understanding the value of music in their own lives led each band member to teach musical skills to others, especially children. Having donated their time to teach guitar lessons and music to kindergartners and mentally challenged youngsters gives great insight into the compassion and appreciation these hard rockers have for people and life. The stories are heartwarming, showing a softer side of the five who have worked so hard to get where they are today. Perhaps this is one of the reasons their friends, supporters and associates read like a "Who´s -Who" in the world of music.



With the CD recorded and mastered and the artistic design completed for Hangface´s first full length CD, produced and engineered by Eddie Kramer, the band feels no limits.
