BiografieSince 1994 Chicago´s Forest of Impaled has been dedicated to the creation of a dark brutal musical style of the most severe. They have striven to embody all the menacing atmosphere and hateful intensity of the true Metal greats. Keeping the spirit of black metal and fusing it with the essential aspects of thrash/death metal. The band has created an innovative style for the next generation of Extreme Metal enthusiast to worship.

Weathering the typical problems and setbacks of most bands the original destructive team of Marek Trela (guitar) and Adrian Adamus (guitar) have boosted their ranks with the insidious rhythm section of Duane Timlin (Percussion) and Marcus M. Kolar (Bass and Vocals). These newest heathens known most for their work within Chicago´s Black Metal elite Sarcophagus. This new stripped down and more essential killing machine line up is now anticipating many live dates as well as the release of their 2-nd full length opus, entitled, Forward the Spears in late Fall/early Winter, to be released by Red Stream. This powerful recording is by far the greatest triumph for the band to date and demonstrates the band´s current chaotic/melodic style. With the musical blasphemies "Hand of Vengeance," "Thy Mighty Servant," "I am the Temple to Eternal Death" and title track, "Forward the Spears" the band has created a symbiotic death/black metal masterpiece that true underground and metal fanatics will no doubt whole heartedly embrace.
