BiografieCommon Grave has been founded by Ferenc Horvarth (vocals), Tobias Köppl (guitars) and Ralf S. (guitars) in spring 1999. Despite a variety of line-up changes the band finally began to take form and recorded its first demo "M.D.K" in 2000.

But after the original drummer left Common Grave in 2002, the band had to completely reorganize. It took the band almost a year to form the new line-up:

* Ralf S. (Guitars)

* Manuel Schmidbauer (Bass)

* Flo Puchert (Drums)

Within this process and due to the influences of the new members the band changed its sound significantly. It is still clearly rooted in Death Metal, but also incorporates Grind and Hardcore influences. In this way the year 2003 in a way became the time of the second founding of Common Grave. After songwriting-sessions the band tried to play as many gigs as possible and supported bands, like Vomitory, Gorerotted, Waco Jesus and Hypnos.

The recording of Common Grave´s first real longplayer "Dehumanized" became the next extremely important step in the band´s history.
