Band:

37 Stabwoundz

Biografiefter his departure from Born From Pain in February 2001, guitarist Servé wanted to give rise to a new project. Therefore, he invited and caught up with drummer Roy, one of his acquaintances from his home-town music scene. Directly experiencing an almost perfect cooperation within the first few weeks, this couple knew they had something going on´, but still required a bassist and matching vocalist in order to form a complete band.
Eventually, after having initiated the quest for these missing links,
it turned out that Bas (bass) and Mike (vocals) embodied the most suited complements.

37 StabwoundZ didn´t start off as your typical hardcore or metal pack. Although leaning towards influential bands like MachineHead, Pantera and Merauder, a very own character could be maintained. With low-tuned guitars, heavy-artillery drums, phat bass and a roaring throat all processed into one package,
37 StabwoundZ produces a mega-solid sound.

As time furthered, live-performances started popping up, rendering gigs on Dutch, Belgian and German stages to be shared with many (inter)national/continental bands, like for instance Krutch, Until the End, Agrèsion, Brainshake, Length of Time, Death Threat, Born From Pain and Terror. Due to these shows the band created a more than modest fame and a growing demand for 37 StabwoundZ material from the public. After having independently sold numerous copies of their four song demo ´Ain´t life grand...´ and other merchandise,
they decided it was time take it to the next level.

From all hard earned ‘gig’-cash and some extras, 37 StabwoundZ professionally recorded nine of their hottest songs in the summer of 2003 and after a high dose of invitational promotion, an irresistible offer was made by Garden of Exile records (www.gardenofexile.nl). Shortly after, a comprehensive agreement was established.
Upcoming April 2004, 37 StabwoundZ will be presenting their hard-hitting and already highly anticipated
debut full length ´Embrace Solitude´.

Shortly after the release of ‘Embrace Solitude”, 37 will perform at the legendary Pinkpop festival, which is filled with worldwide known acts like N*E*R*D, MUSE, The Black Eyed Peas and Lenny Kravitz. Furthermore, hot 37-shows are already confirmed for the near future, sharing the stage with bands like E-Town Concrete,
Madball and Heaven Shall Burn.Quelle: http://www.37stabwoundz.com/Discografie2001 - Ain´t life grand...
