BiografieDethrone is a Thrash/Death Metal band from Värnamo, Sweden. The Band was formed in June 2011 and they recorded their first demo in September the very same year at HoboRec Studios. The demo got them selected as the best band of Sweden in the swedish magazine Close-Up and they got a spot at the Metal Town Festival in Gothenburg the next summer, only one year after the band was born. April 2012 - Dethrone once again goes to Hoborec, Huskvarna to begin the recording of Humanity with Ulf Blomberg, after ten hard days in the studio the mixed record is sent to Peter In de Betou at Tailor maid for mastering. The album cover is hand painted by Joakim Vestlund and the last piece of the puzzle fell into place. In June the band delivers songs from the upcoming album before a thrilled crowd at Metaltown festival.They have since then been opening for band such as Unleashed, Nominon and many more, and many of shows are already booked for 2013.Dethrone is a band that wants to be distanced from the new wave of metalcore and deathcore. Instead they are focusing to play more straight forward, intensive and aggressive metal, inpsired by bands such as early The Haunted, The Cown, Defleshed, Witchery and more.
