1990-1995
Resurrecturis was born in Fermo in 1990 from an idea of Carlo Strappa. The early years are spent trying to find a stable line up and playing local gigs.
In 1995 the debut 3 tracks demo, “No Flesh Shall Be Spared”, is released. The tape receives positive comments from the underground press and is distributed in 1200 copies thanks to a worldwide distribution deal with pioneer US metal label Wild Rags Records.


1996
Lead guitarist Janos Murri and vocalist Jerry di Tullio enter the line up. After some months the second 6 track demo tape, “Evil Confronting Evil”, is released. The cassette receives an excellent feedback from worldwide press. Resurrecturis manage to distribute 800 copies of the tape while Wild Rags Records will re-release a further 1200 copies on MCD.



1997
The band gets in touch with David Lenci, a renamed noise/metal producer (Three Second Kiss, Launderette, Cut, Aydra) who, after reading some of the enthusiastic reviews the band is receiving, offers his services to Resurrecturis. The outcome of this collaboration is “Corpses”, a 5 songs promo tape to be circulated exclusively among magazines and record labels. The response to this production is phenomenal: the tape is voted demo of the month in various magazines and Resurrecturis begins to receive the first offers for a debut album.
Two demo outtakes are published in the split 7” “Leichname Fur Immer” with doom metal band Grief Of God on German label Quamby Hill Records.
During summer the band flies to Hoorn (Holland) to ink the deal for its debut album with Power Records.



1998
Most part of 1998 is spent in David Lenci’s own recording studio.
When finally released “Nocturnal” receives an excellent welcome from the audience and media: the hard musical and promotional work done by Resurrecturis is bringing its first fruits and only the poor distribution network of Power Records prevents the record from selling an appropriate amount of copies.
Drummer Omar Moretti joined Resurrecturis.



1999
“Nocturnal” is re-released on picture LP by German label Quamby Hill Records in a limited print run of 300 copies.
Hungarian label Backwoods Productions released a double cassette box “Nocturnal Corpses (Forever)” featuring the debut album “Nocturnal”, all the demos, some inedit and cover material.
Vocalist Ivan di Marco joined Resurrecturis.



2000
In march Resurrecturis embark on their first European tour “Suicidal Mission” that in the course of 21 days saw the band performing live in Belgium, Portugal and Slovenia.
At the end of the tour a scary car crash nearly destroyed the future of Resurrecturis. Most of the band’s equipment is damaged and also some band members are injuried.
Bassist Gianluca Bassi quits the band after almost 10 years of Resurrecturis, his replacement is Gianluca Mandolesi.
Between May and June a new demo tape is recorded, but is only distributed among the closest friends of the band.
In June the band is co-headliner with UK Subs at the Open Flatuss Festival in Ljutomer, Slovenia.


2001
In June the band is newly co-headliner at the Open Flatuss Festival in Ljutomer, Slovenia. Between August and November the follow up to “Nocturnal” is recorded. The first mix is judged not satisfying. Latent conflicts between band members broke up and Omar left the band.


2002
Following some rare local gig, Resurrecturis broke up.


2003
In March Carlo, Janos and Omar , with new bassist Manuel Coccia, reformed Resurrecturis.
In May the second album is finally mixed, remastered and set for release under the title “The Cuckoo Clocks Of Hell”, in homage to obscure underground movie “Last House On Dead End Street”.
In October “The Cuckoo Clocks Of Hell”, second full length album by Resurrecturis, is finally released.
