Grace

(Underdog)
BiografieXGRACEX started out in fall 2005, when 4 friends from the local scene finally worked out their long-talked idea of making some music together. At that time the "project” XGRACEX was Marco and Tim from TODAY FOREVER, Bastian from INTRUDER and Henning. Their common goal was to have fun and make simple and fast SXE-Hardcore in the vein of bands like MINOR THREAT or YOUTH OF TODAY.

After a very short time of practices they’ve had enough songs, but not as trashy and simple as supposed to be, but with a more modern direction, with a lot of sing-a-longs and even a melodic edge. Bastian parted ways by the end of 2005 because of work and school, and Kai and Andy joined forces. XGRACEX grew up to a real band.

In February 2006 XGRACEX played their first show ever and got overwelming responses. Only a few shows down the road, in the summer of 2006 GRACE locked themself into Kohlekeller Studio (TODAY FOREVER, FINAL PRAYER, SIX REASONS TO KILL ...) to finish their first recordings.

Three songs out of that session were self-released in November of that year on a demo-tape. The first 75 were gone in 2 weeks, without even playing a show at that time. The second 75 tapes were gone almost as quick as the first. The demo got some incredibly good reviews.

In March 2007 finally XGRACEX put out their official debut called "THE CALLING” on FIELDS OF HOPE RECORDS as a 10-song CD (incl. the 3 songs from the demo) and a 6-Song 7”, produced and engineered by Kai Stahlenberg and featuring Guest-Vocals from Dave / TODAY FOREVER.

All guys in XGRACEX are Straight Edge Vegetarians and have been around in the scene for quite some years. Already in their late twenties/early thirties they still have energy and passion to spare.Quelle: http://www.myspace.com/gracexedgeDiscografie2006 The Calling

The Calling - Cover
Schön kurz und knackig gibt es bei der ersten GRACE-Scheibe "The Calling" einen vor’s Kinn - zehn Songs in nichtmal zwanzig Minuten lassen keinen Platz für langatmige Parts.
