The Hamburg based band THE RETALIATION PROCESS was founded in early 2008 and has now produced its debut album called “Downfall” in Hamburg’s Eikey Studio with Eike Freese. The result of this collaboration is a powerful and brutal sound with the right dose of rough edges that hard music should have! “Downfall” will be released worldwide in January of 2010 through Silverwolf Productions and contains nine heavily grooving modern metal tracks plus an instrumental. Besides their sophisticated killer riffs another characteristic of the band is its independent flair for rousing guitar melodies which adds another deep dimension to its music. Although being a roots-honorific metal band, THE RETALIATION PROCESS has a major style-crossover potential, because the album is more than just thrash- and death-metal and has been upgraded with some rocking parts as well.
